An affiliate program is an excellent way to be able to promote your products. It involves offering incentives such as a percentage of the purchase price to those that promote it for you. They may have a list of people they can send information to or just want to put an advertisement on their website.

If you make that percentage amount high enough many people will be encouraged to be a part of it. They don’t have to deal with customers or send out the products. They just have the advertisements there and through the link that a person takes to place the order you can easily keep track of who is owed commission for what purchases.

There are many places online where you can set up such an affiliate program. You want to have a program that allows you to track sells, to have the affiliate information, and to know how much you owe them. Make sure you submit payment to the affiliates on time. They will be encouraged to continue selling for you when they see the money coming in.

You can still make lots of money with a successful affiliate program though. The volume of additional customers you gain though it will more than cover what you pay out to the affiliates. If your product is an e-book or other item that didn’t cost you much to make at all then you are still experiencing a very high profit margin after their cut.
