With a blog you have the means of being able to contact lots of people but in a manner that is informal. While your blog should be entertaining and informative, try to make it motivational as well. When you keep things on a positive note you will find it attracts more followers.

Motivation is a key ingredient to keeping people coming back for more. You want them to feel good after they have read the information you share with them. By doing so you can be seen as someone with the right information and plenty of credibility.
