Sending SPAM can lead to Big Trouble

It doesn’t matter if you are doing it intentionally or if it happens by accident. Using someone else’s opt in list or buying one is a surefire way to get yourself into trouble with SPAM.
People often do mass email marketing because it is cost effective and it doesn’t take very much time. However, you need to make sure the people you email are those that have given you permission to do so. Just because you email more people doesn’t mean your conversion rate will go up.
There is no way to know if those other people have any solid interest in what you offer. If you get classified as sending SPAM you could have to pay a huge fine or spend time in jail. It is also terrible publicity for your business so avoid it at all costs.
